Each year around the world, people take action to eliminate gender-based violence during the 16 Days of Activism held from 25 November to 10 December.
In Australia, we are now talking regularly about violence against women. Conversation is important but we also need to take action to end this violence.
During the annual 16 Days Activist Challenge we are asking people to do just that.
The 16 Days Activist Challenge is part of the international movement ‘16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence’.
Women’s Health West is leading the Challenge for the Preventing Violence Together partnership.
To get involved in the Challenge, simply register and choose the actions you will take over the 16 days. You can pick from the suggested actions, or choose your own!
